Cookie information

Last updated: 15 October 2026.

Only essential storage

This website does not load analytics, advertising trackers, embedded maps, social media widgets or externally hosted fonts. There are no optional tracking categories to switch on or off.

Notice acknowledgement

The first-party local-storage item cno-essential-notice-v1 remembers that you have acknowledged this notice for 180 days. After expiry it is removed when the site is next opened. You can reopen the information using Cookie settings in the footer, or clear this website’s storage in your browser.

Consultation request security

The first-party cno_request_token cookie is created when you submit a consultation request and expires after two hours. It protects the submission and helps prevent duplicate records. It is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Administrator sign-in

WordPress uses essential first-party authentication and settings cookies when authorised administrators sign in. Session authentication normally expires after two days, or up to 14 days if Remember Me is selected. WordPress settings cookies may last up to one year. The sign-in test cookie checks whether cookies work. The editor also stores first-party WP_DATA_USER_* and WP_PREFERENCES_USER_* local-storage items for administrator preferences. These can remain until cleared in the browser and are not used for visitor tracking. These are not needed merely to browse the public service directory.

Your browser controls

You may delete or block storage through your browser. Browsing remains available, but blocking essential cookies may prevent form submission or administrator sign-in. There are no non-essential cookies to accept or reject.
